A great location, a 5 minute walk to the hospital and very close to town. The room had everything we needed, clean and quiet on a busy road.

The room is so good every thing is fine but expect the wifi connection is really bad. Slow sometimes is not working that the problem but everything is so perfect thanks alot🥰

Without hesitation I would recommend staying at the Boulcott Lodge. I stayed there for multiple nights on three separate occasions during April and May 2025. Friendly, helpful, caring hosts and comfortable, clean, quiet rooms located close to the Lower Hutt CBD where I was working. If I need to book accommodation in the Hutt Valley in the future, I will be returning to the Boulcott Lodge. Jan.

This motel is a cut above so many others in the Wellington area. Not only is it exceptionally clean, with all the amenities you would expect and good car parking, but it also offers something rare — the outstanding hospitality of Felicity and Tim. They are truly exceptional hosts. From the very first interaction when booking our stay, they were warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. During our visit, their graciousness and genuine care made all the difference, creating an atmosphere that felt more like visiting friends than staying at a motel. Boulcott Lodge also benefits from a fantastic location, close to the shops, cafés, and shopping mall of Lower Hutt, with easy access into Wellington itself. As regular visitors to Wellington who have tried many motels and apartments, we can confidently say we have now found the place we will return to without hesitation. Felicity and Tim are absolute treasures, and we cannot compliment them enough for the wonderful experience they provide.

Pillows and bed uncomfortable Staff can’t read , had Do not disturb sign on door however they came in and cleaned room any way. Picking up all our stuff and handling it, which no other motel has ever done. Won’t be staying here again or recommending it to anyone else.

Great stay!
This property was a little difficult ro find but worth it. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet.
